Trinity Basin Preparatory (TBP) is proud to announce another financial rating upgrade by HR Ratings® from BBB to BBB+. The upgrade was highlighted in HR Ratings’ November 22 report. The report analyzed historical financial results and cited Average Daily Attendance (ADA), improved academic performance, increasing enrollment and other factors as contributors to the upgrade.

This announcement is another milestone in what has been a landmark year for TBP. In recent news, TBP is currently building its seventh campus located on the west side of Mesquite at 2901 E. Meadows Blvd. The new campus will be open for the start of the 2020-2021 school year. Additionally, the Texas Education Agency (TEA) has assigned TBP an Overall District Accountability Rating of 88 and a 98 based on the Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST).

Superintendent Randy Shaffer says: “We are so proud of our faculty, staff and students. A ratings upgrade like this is the culmination of hard work in every role. We have big plans, and 2020 will bring more great news for our Titan family.”
