Ashlee Thrash from Mesquite Campus Awarded as TBP’s District Teacher of the Year

On May 17, a group of students and staff members from TBP’s Mesquite Campus helped to celebrate Ashlee Thrash being awarded as the TBP/Liberty Capital Bank District Teacher of the Year.

Thrash teaches grades 1st to 7th Special Education Functional Living Skills at Mesquite. She has been teaching for 11 years, and this is her second year with TBP.

“Congratulations again to Ms. Thrash and to all of the great teachers at each campus who were nominated by their peers for this year's Teacher of the Year award,” Superintendent Randy Shaffer said in an email to TBP staff. “Teacher appreciation week is over, but I continue to be thankful for your ongoing efforts to put our best foot forward to help educate our students.”

With her award, Thrash received a $2,000 check from Liberty Capital Bank.
