    Panola Student Ambassadors Provide Tours for Ft. Worth Officials

    On Tuesday, April 12, TBP’s Panola Campus hosted visitors from local philanthropic organizations, state legislative offices, and partner nonprofits to discuss some of the opportunities and services provided to students and community members through TBP’s campus and Clayton Youth Enrichment, headquartered across the street from the Panola Campus. Students had opportunities to share their own experiences at TBP as well as show visitors around both campus buildings.

    On Saturday, November 13, volunteers with Clayton Youth Enrichment, in partnership with Capstone Church and Care Center Ministries, distributed almost 300 Thanksgiving Dinner meal kits in a drive-up event at TBP’s Panola Campus.

    Kids Vision for Life Bus Visits Tarrant County Campuses; Dallas County Campuses Up Next

    Each year, TBP hosts the Kids Vision for Life bus to provide students with free eye health and vision exams and, as needed, fittings for a new pair of glasses. This comprehensive program allows students to try on different types of frames and have their lenses cut and set in their frames on-site so that the student goes home that same day with their new set of glasses.

    Tall Tales Unit Leads to Short Stacks at Panola Campus

    On September 7, the second grade students at TBP’s Panola Campus got a special treat: pancakes! As part of a unit on Tall Tales, these students were treated to “giant flapjacks” to correlate with the tall tale of Paul Bunyan.

    Panola Campus Gets First Visit from Certified Therapy Dog

    On August 12, the Panola campus had their first therapy dog visit. The campus has partnered with Therapy Dog International (TDI). The handler/owner, Kathy Davenport, brought her certified therapy dog Kate Louise to see four of the campus’s 2nd grade classrooms and one 1st grade classroom. Kate Louise has previously visited the Ewing campus.

    Panola Staff Christen New Building with Special Personal Messages

    Last month, Panola faculty and staff were able to get a tour of the new building taking shape on their campus in preparation for the 2021-22 school year. Staff explored the new building, poked around their soon-to-be classrooms, and were wowed by the new gymnasium.
