Dear Parents and Guardians,

This is just a reminder that your child will be taking their State-Mandated STAAR Test on the dates below.

Students must bring their computers and chargers the day before to leave their computers charging overnight at the campus. It is important that your child has their computer fully charged and ready to take their test. If your student no longer has a charger in their possession please buy your student a replacement.

Personal cellphones, smartwatches, and ear pods will be collected first thing in the morning by their teachers and will be returned at the end of the day.  Preferably, have your student leave their cellphones at home. 

It is extremely important that your child ATTENDS school, is ON TIME, and stays the WHOLE INSTRUCTIONAL DAY. Failure to attend STAAR can impact your student’s ability to be promoted to the next grade level for the 23-24 school year. If you have a scheduled doctor’s appointment, please call, and reschedule if possible. If you know your child will not be at school on the following dates, please notify the front office. This will help us prepare better for testing your student.

Estimados padres y tutores, 

Su hijo tomará sus pruebas STAAR exigidas por el estado en las siguientes fechas.

Los estudiantes no deben traer sus mochilas a la escuela en ningún día de examen. Al igual, los estudiantes deben traer sus computadoras y cargadores un día antes para dejar sus computadoras cargando durante la noche en el plantel. Es importante que su hijo tenga su computadora completamente cargada y lista para tomar su examen.

Los teléfonos celulares serán tomados a primera hora de la mañana por sus maestros y serán devueltos al final del día o deje que su estudiante deje sus teléfonos celulares en casa.

Además, es extremadamente importante que su hijo asista a la escuela A TIEMPO y se quede TODO EL DÍA DE INSTRUCCIÓN. Si tiene una cita programada con el médico, llame y reprograme si es posible. Si sabe que su hijo no estará en la escuela en las siguientes fechas, llame a la oficina principal el lunes. Esto nos ayudará a prepararnos mejor para las pruebas.
