At noon on Friday, April 8, Mesquite campus kindergartners will get to celebrate those students who raised the most money in the campus’s Love My Library book fair and fundraiser by watching Vice Principal Isiah Manalo get pied. “It’s been really fun seeing the engagement that this fundraiser has developed,” Manalo said. “I want to thank Mrs. Dowhin for being so innovative in ways to ensure that our school library is well equipped and allows students to continue nurturing their love of reading.” Every student who signed up on the Love My Library's student portal received a free book and the campus raised just over $4,000 from fall and spring fundraisers.
