Across our campuses, TBP is helping to provide our educators with a variety of teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners. In light of this, Trinity Basin Preparatory and Out Teach were proud to co-host “The Big Dig” event at TBP’s Pafford campus in Fort Worth, marking the opening of our second Outdoor Learning Lab on a Trinity Basin Preparatory campus. Out Teach is a national non-profit organization that coaches and inspires teachers to unlock student performance with the power of outdoor experiential learning.

    The Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) was established in 2019 by House Bill (HB) 3 during the 86th Legislature and is designed to give teachers access to earn a six-figure salary.  TBP is thrilled to announce the TIA Designated Teachers for the 2022-2023 school year.     Ashlee Thrash from Mesquite Campus Awarded as TBP’s District Teacher of the Year

    On May 17, a group of students and staff members from TBP’s Mesquite Campus helped to celebrate Ashlee Thrash being awarded as the TBP/Liberty Capital Bank District Teacher of the Year.   Thrash teaches grades 1st to 7th Special Education Functional Living Skills at Mesquite. She has been teaching for 11 years, and this is her second year with TBP.

    HHM to Provide Medical and Behavioral Health Services at On-Site Jefferson Campus Clinic

    Beginning in early June, TBP’s Jefferson Campus will be the site of HHM Health, an on-site Federally Qualified Health Center for primary care in Dallas and surrounding counties.  HHM Health provides care for those who do not have insurance as well as those who have insurance, including Medicaid, Medicare, Affordable Care Act plans, and regular insurance.

  • TBP Announces Plans for Future 2023-24 Home for 10th Street Campus

    Following Dallas City Council approval of rezoning on January 26, last week, TBP closed on the $10MM acquisition of the existing 33,000 square foot Tyler Street Christian Academy (TSCA) campus located on five acres at 915 W. 9th Street in Dallas, which is one block north on the opposite side of the street from the current 10th Street Campus building.

    After-School Program Launches on Jan. 24

    On January 24, 2022, Clayton Youth Enrichment (CYE) will be expanding its current Panola campus Afterschool Program to TBP’s Ledbetter and Mesquite Campuses. Each campus will have an enrollment cap of about 50 students per campus, with the goal of expanding to all TBP campuses with a larger enrollment capacity on fall 2022.

    Bolt Campus Progress Continues Toward August 2022 Opening

    While the project has faced some difficulties due to ongoing supply chain disruption, TBP’s Bolt Campus is still currently on track to open as TBP’s next middle school in August 2022. The new Bolt Campus, adjacent to TBP’s existing Pafford Campus, will host 4-6 sections of 5th through 8th grade students beginning in August.

    Kids Vision for Life Bus Visits Tarrant County Campuses; Dallas County Campuses Up Next

    Each year, TBP hosts the Kids Vision for Life bus to provide students with free eye health and vision exams and, as needed, fittings for a new pair of glasses. This comprehensive program allows students to try on different types of frames and have their lenses cut and set in their frames on-site so that the student goes home that same day with their new set of glasses.
